Cost Accountant

Responsibilities will include, but not restricted to, ensuring the integrity of the standard cost database, must be able to take charge of the physical inventory. Primary responsibilities will be accounting for inventory and cost of goods (COGS), preparing various reports for financial reporting on inventory and COGS, analyzing variances in financial results from standard costs and assist in maintaining standard costs.

This position requires the following:

• A Bachelors Degree in Accounting
• 5-7 years exp. with developing standard costing, manufacturing and inventory reporting including analysis of variances
• Strong computer skills including knowledge of automated G/L and MRP systems: Vantage by EPICOR would be a definite plus, but not required
• MS Office proficiency required
• A self-starter with excellent interpersonal skills
